![]() ![]() If you use a flaw to pick up TWF, you can do ranger1/warblade 4, which lets you hit IL 17 by level 20 for 9th level. So the bare bones build is ranger 2/warblade 3. youd just use your level 3 feat for the Weapon Focus feat. Can Leading the Attack be replaced by ANY maneuver and potentially 'circumvent' White Raven Tactics' prereq? Or can it be replaced only by another White Raven maneuver so White Raven Tactics' prereq remains fulfilled? If yes, would that other White Raven maneuver have to have been obtainable before WR Tactics (not requiring one White Raven maneuver as a prereq?) Or can it not be replaced at all since it was used to fulfill WR Tactics' prereq? I feel like I'm missing something obvious if I can come up with that many possibilities. And you dont, strictly speaking, need a fighter level at all, because Power Attack is not required for qualification. At char level 6 I can replace a maneuver. Do maneuver prereqs need to be fulfilled after I've already taken that maneuver? I'd think yes, but I haven't seen anything explicitly stating it either way, unless there's a more generic rule somewhere that applies that I don't know about.įor example, lets say I have one White Raven level 1 maneuver, Leading the Attack, by character level 5, enabling me to take White Raven Tactics which requires one White Raven maneuver. He doesn't get Feats, but he gets maneuvers and they're definitely superior. If you want to change which Y maneuvers you have readied, it takes 5 minutes, unless you have the Adaptive Style feat. You prepare a selection of Y of the maneuvers that you know, and those maneuvers are available for you to use in a fight. ![]() Right now, we have a rogue, a sorceress, and a dervish fighter. Flurry of Blows, the Monk’s iconic combat ability, often amounts to a flurry of misses due to the Monk’s. You know X maneuvers, determined by your level. Warblade AoO build Darkghost316 D Darkghost316 First Post 1 Hi all, I am currently in a 3.5 game being run in the forgotten realms setting and I chose to be one of the main melee characters. With poor AC and hit points, but a combat skillset devoted entirely to melee the Monk is a glass cannon designed to be a placed in a room full of hammers. The Warblade has MORE hp (he rolls d12), has full B.A.B. The Monk is one of the greatest challenges of 3.5. He's got lots of HP, he's fairly accurate and has a full B.A.B. The Warblades martial powers are all 'standard attacks', and the duskblade can add his spells for free on any standard melee attack. I'm rather puzzled about how the warblade's maneuver replacement works with higher level maneuver prereqs. Warblade: The Warblade combines good elements of both the Barbarian and the Fighter. Mechanically speaking, the 3.5 Fighter is basically the Vanilla Hero (who gets lots of Feats). The Warblade is perfect for mixing with the Duskblade, though it will slow down your spell progression, the warblades high BAB (and his martial prowess) complement the duskblade nicely. ![]()
